The renowned ‘Happiest 5k’ event saw thousands of runners of all ages run, dance, skip and cartwheel – in addition to producing plenty of color carnage – as the cult series returned to Dubai.
The brand new Tropicolor World Tour took the beloved experience that Dubai’s Color Runners already love to the next level of fun with Daman ActiveLife’s all-new Tropicolor Zone.
Participants ran through an array of colors and passed palm trees and arches, with upbeat island-style music playing loudly.
During the Finish Festival, runners also enjoyed interactive fun at the ‘Rainbow Beach’ with dancing, music, an array of activities from the event’s sponsors.
Dr. Michael Bitzer, Chief Executive Officer of the National Health Insurance Company – Daman, the presenting sponsor of the event, said: “We are delighted to present this much-loved event for the seventh time in the UAE. It offers motivation and drive for first-time runners and an exciting day out for families and friends, no matter what their fitness level is.”
