Juventus have moved ahead of the competition to land Arsenal midfielder Aaron Ramsey on a free transfer next summer, according to reports.
Ramsey, 27, can negotiate with foreign teams from January 1 after he was told in October that his Gunners contract would not be renewed. This has led to extensive interest in a player that has made 350 appearances and scored 59 goals since joining from Cardiff City for just under £5 million in 2008.
Sky Sport Italia have stated the Serie A champions have moved ahead of the likes of Inter Milan in a battle to secure the Wales international’s services.
Only last summer, Juve extended their record of sweeping up elite free agents when they convinced Germany midfielder Emre Can to ditch Liverpool.
